Research at MASH – Invitation to Tender
We are delighted to be commissioning a short-term research project at MASH. It will examine Women and Sex Work in Greater Manchester; the prevalence, intersectional needs and gaps in service provision.
MASH is a small organisation based in Manchester which provides support to women who sex work or are at risk of sex working. The community we support are some of the most marginalised and deprived people in our area and they face significant barriers accessing mainstream services and support. We provide non-judgemental, expert advice to these women and aim to reduce harm in their lives, build resilience and equip them to make positive changes and decisions about their lives.
We would like to appoint an experienced researcher or group of researchers to examine the prevalence of sex work across Greater Manchester boroughs and the intersectional needs of different cohorts of sex workers. The research will also examine the services currently in place in Greater Manchester and the gaps in service provision.
The research will be carried out between late March and early November.
The deadline for the submission of proposals is midnight on the 14th March 2021.
