MASH is a charity and raises funds to provide help for women who have few other places to turn.
A women we support said ‘At MASH they really care about us, so they make sure they go that extra mile to help us. At MASH they don’t give up helping us which makes us not give up on ourselves.’
Our supporters are a mixture of the general public, members of community groups, local companies and grant giving organisations. Over the past 24 years we have done a lot of good work in the Manchester community. But there is a lot more left to do. We need your help fundraising to run these vital services that help women work towards a safer, better future. There are many different ways to get involved:
If you belong to a local community group or church we would be delighted to visit or give a presentation about the work of MASH. Our staff can explain the background to MASH, the need for our services, the opportunities for the community to be involved and MASH’s impact.
If you would like to hold your own fundraising event please contact Helen who will help in any way she can.
MASH is supported by many http://www.mash.org.uk/get-involved/our-supporters/. We are always seeking new corporate partners as working together we can make the most impact in the local community. A partnership with MASH can increase the company’s profile through Press and PR opportunities and help staff development as they take part in events or volunteering. We understand that each of our corporate supporters has different requirements and we can tailor our partnerships accordingly.
MASH host many fundraising events and we are always looking for people to take part. We enter a small team to the Manchester 10K run each year and we have been known to take part in daring abseils and zip-slides! Check the events page for up-to-date information. If you would like to organise your own event we can support you with collection buckets and lovely MASH t-shirts.
You can sign up to our quarterly newsletter (at the bottom of each page) to keep in touch and hear all our latest news.
