Drugs & alcohol
If you’d like some advice and support when it comes to drugs and alcohol, we can help. Our case workers are here to offer you support, whether you need someone to talk to, or you’d like to seek further help.
Talk to Us
The support from MASH staff is non-judgemental, free and available to all women who are sex working. Our case workers are available if you would like further support, or to talk confidentially about drugs and alcohol use.
No appointment is need to attend the drop-in which is open Monday – Thursday 3pm – 6pm and Fridays 12.30pm – 3.30pm.
MASH Needle Exchange
MASH also offers a needle exchange service at the Drop-In and on the outreach van (five evenings per week). The van travels around the city centre and Cheetham Hill on Monday – Friday between 8pm and midnight.
Each Wednesday evening MASH has a Drug Worker available at the mobile drop-in van, who carries out assessments for drug treatment, including methadone, and can make referrals for detox.
This service is free and we won’t judge you, or make you feel uncomfortable in any way.
